I was a chief medical officer of one of California's largest teaching hospitals. I am a practicing Internist and endocrinologist. I have done legal -medical work for > 30 years., I am in part time practice and have more time. I have mostly done defense but in the last few years, a mix of plaintiff and defense cases. I have expertise and have provided testimony or opinions in:rn1. All aspects of endocrinology and diabetes- diabetes emergencies, complications, thyroid disease, adrenal tumors, pituitary trauma and tumors. rn2. Complex Internal medicine cases- wherein the issue is what is really going on or what was the real cause of death or illnessrn3. Medical administration-- doctor v. hospital; hospital trying to exit a doctor; or medical provider versus their board ( extensive experience)rn4. I know a lot about residency education but although I teach, I have not been active in residency administration for a bit.
