I am an operating room nurse and have been for 31 years. I have worked in both pediatric and adult settings in inpatient and outpatient settings. I have been a circulator, scrub nurse, OR manager, SPD manager, OR educator and DON at a surgery center. I went into nursing because I wanted to work in an operating room and care for patients that cannot speak for themselves. I have had my certification in OR nursing for about 10 years and have my legal nurse certification.
