Peter Crosby

Peter Crosby has worked in the medical device industry for over 45 years. His early career was in engineering research and development building on the academic foundation of an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and a graduate degree in biomedical engineering. He is an inventor on over 50 patents and applications, and has managed the intellectual property portfolio of several companies. Since then he has served as the CEO of six medical device companies in four countries, public and private. He has brought dozens of medical devices to the world market from concept to market release, including clinical trials and regulatory approval (FDA 510(k) and PMA).rnClinical domain experience includes cardiology, cardiac surgery, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, pain management, in vitro diagnostics, and medical imaging.rnMedical device experience includes cochlear implants, implantable cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators, medical software, diagnostic ultrasound, in vitro diagnostics (blood tests), neurostimulation for pain, and AI for image analysis.rnMr. Crosby has been involved in many cases including patents (infringement, validity, ownership, IPR, ITC), alleged misappropriation of intellectual property, contract disputes for M&A transactions. product liability, and others.
